Text messages
How the Plattshaus daily text works, who receives it and how to stop it.
What the messages are
Plattshaus sends each enrolled household member one informational text message per day, usually in the early morning, with a summary of that person's own day: calendar events, school schedule notes, chores due, weather and reminders. Occasionally a time-sensitive reminder (for example, a schedule change) may be sent. Expect about one message per day, and no more than three.
Messages never contain marketing or promotional content, offers, purchase links or content from third parties.
Who receives them
Only members of the Platts household. There is no public sign-up form, website form or keyword campaign.
How people opt in
The account owner, Richard Platts, asks each household member in person and reads this script word for word:
A member is added only after an explicit "yes". Consent is recorded with the date and time, the phone number and the script version. Their first message confirms enrollment:
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help; you can also ask Richard Platts directly.
Costs
Plattshaus never charges for messages. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile phone numbers and consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy and terms.
