Plattshaus

Terms of service

Terms for the Plattshaus daily text messages.

Program

Plattshaus household texts is a personal prototype operated by Richard Platts. It sends enrolled members of the Platts household one informational text per day summarizing their own day: calendar events, school schedule notes, chores due, weather and reminders. Occasionally a time-sensitive reminder may be sent. Expect about one message per day, and no more than three.

Who may enroll

Only members of the Platts household, added by the account owner after they agree in person. There is no public enrollment. See Text messages for how consent is given.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or contact Richard Platts directly.

Costs

The program is free. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Message frequency varies, about one message per day.

Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages are sent as a convenience and may be late, incomplete or not sent; don't rely on them for anything urgent or safety-related.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy.

Changes

These terms may change as the prototype changes. Enrolled recipients will be told by text about any material change, and can reply STOP at any time.
